Directions:

Prepare Your Work Area

• Lay out several strips of parchment paper on your work surface to prevent sticking.

Melt Dark Chocolate

• Transfer the dark chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl.
• Heat the dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring well between each increment until it becomes smooth.
• Transfer the melted dark chocolate to a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with a small hole cut in one corner.

Create Spider Shapes

• Pipe small dots (about the size of a dime) onto the parchment paper, and then add four legs on each side of the dot.
• Place the parchment paper with the spiders on a plate or cutting board and put it in the fridge or freezer to expedite the chocolate hardening.

Build the Spider Webs

• Arrange approximately 8-10 pretzel sticks in a circle, with their points meeting in the center to form the base of the web.

Melt White Chocolate

• Transfer the white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl.
• Heat the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring well between each increment until it becomes smooth.
• Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with a small hole cut in one corner.

Pipe the Webs

• Pipe a large dollop of white chocolate in the center of the pretzels to keep them connected.
• Then, pipe large circles around and around the pretzels until it resembles a spider web.
• Keep the white chocolate drizzle lines somewhat thick to prevent them from breaking easily.

Decorate and Assemble

• Immediately place a chocolate spider (carefully remove it from the parchment paper) in the center of the web.
• Sprinkle a few Halloween-themed sprinkles for color and texture.

Repeat and Set

• Repeat the process with the remaining pretzels until you've used up all the white chocolate.
• Allow the Spider Web Bark to set at room temperature for about 10-20 minutes or until the white chocolate has hardened.
