How To Make Paper Plate Llama

Step 1:

Paper Plate Llama craft templates cut out

Select cardstock papers for the head, neck, and legs; and select colored craft papers for the saddle. Trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out nicely.

Step 2:

Attach inner ear cutouts for the Paper Plate Llama

Attach the inner ear cutouts on the ear parts of the head.

Step 3:

Attach hair cutouts on paper plate llama

Attach the hair cutout between the ears, on the top side of the head.

Step 4:

Attach paper llama mouth cutout

Attach the mouth cutout on the head, near the bottom side.

Step 5:

Draw llama's face

Use a sharpie to draw the face of the paper llama.

Step 6:

Attach head pattern with neck cutout

Attach the head pattern with the neck cutout.

Step 7:

Wrap yarn around llama's neck

Cut out a piece of yarn and wrap it around the neck 3 or 4 times.

Step 8:

Cut paper plate in half

Select a paper plate and cut it in half.

Step 9:

Attach leg cutouts to paper plate

Attach the leg cutouts to the round side of the plate.

Step 10:

Craft the llama's saddle

Craft the saddle by joining the 3 saddle cutouts.

Step 11:

Attach saddle cutout to paper plate

Attach the saddle cutout to the paper plate, along the straight side.

Step 12:

Completed paper plate llama craft

Attach the head part with the paper plate, opposite to the legs. Attach pompoms around the round side of the saddle.
