Step 1:

Handprint cat craft templates

Select thick colored craft papers for the handprint cat craft. You can use the handprint layout provided with the template or you can use your own hand for this craft. Trace a handprint for the body base of the cat and trace the rest of the patterns (head, eye base, inner ears, hat, nose and blush) for the cat craft. Use a pair of scissors to cut out the traced pattern.

Step 2:

Glue the inner ear cutouts to the ear parts of the head cutout.

Step 3:

Use a black sharpie to draw the eyes on the eye base cutouts and use yellow sharpie to fill the white part of the eye bases. Glue the eyes near the top part of the head cutout.

Step 4:

Glue the blush spots on both cheeks and glue the nose in the middle of the head; between but slightly below the eyes. 

Step 5:

Use a black sharpie to draw the mouth-line of the papercraft cat.

Step 6:

Attach the hat band cutout on the hat base cutout.

Step 7:

Attach the paper hat to the top end of the cat’s head pattern.

Attach the head pattern on the edge of the palm, near the pinky. The thumb will be the tail of our handprint cat and the rest of the fingers will be the legs.
