Cast a spell of delight at your Halloween gathering with our Hocus Pocus Witches Brew Cauldrons. These enchanting treats are not only fun to make but will leave your guests spellbound with their chocolaty goodness and whimsical presentation. Crafted with care, these cauldron-shaped brownies are sure to add a touch of magic to your spooky celebration.

Supplies and Equipment:

Instructions: For Fondant Brew Stick:

  1. Dust your hands and a cutting board with powdered sugar before working with the fondant.
  2. Remove fondant from the package and work with your hands to make it soft and moldable.
  3. Pinch off about 1 tsp of fondant and roll it in an up and down motion to create a log.
  4. Set aside on the cookie sheet and repeat the steps to create 23 more.
  5. Allow to dry overnight.

For Witches Brew Brownies:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray the baking dish with Pam baking spray.
  2. Using a hand mixer, beat all ingredients (brownie mix, milk, eggs, and canola oil) together until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the 9×13 baking dish and bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow to cool completely.
  5. Place the cauldrons onto a cookie sheet.
  6. Cut the brownie into bite-size pieces or crumble it.
  7. Stuff the brownie into the cauldrons and set aside.

For Vanilla Frosting:

  1. Using a standing mixer or a large bowl with a hand mixer, beat the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream until combined, smooth, and stiff peaks form.
  2. Scoop about 1 ½ cups of frosting into another bowl and mix in a few drops of purple food coloring.
  3. Add a few drops of neon green into the main bowl of frosting.
  4. Scoop 1 ½ cups of the green frosting into one side of the large piping bag.
  5. Scoop the purple frosting into the other side of the large piping bag.

Decorating the Cauldrons:

  1. Using the medium piping bag with the two frosting colors, pipe frosting into the middle of the cauldron.
  2. Sprinkle a few of each type of sprinkle around on the frosting.
  3. Place the fondant stick into the side of the frosting.

Ingredients
  

For the brew sticks:

  • 1 package of 8oz black fondant
  • 2 C powdered sugar

Witches Brew Ingredients:

  • 1 9 x13 chocolate fudge brownie mix
  • ¼ C milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ C canola oil

Frosting:

  • 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 3 powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • Neon Green gel food coloring
  • Purple gel food coloring
  • 1 package of Wilton Sprinkle Pouch green
  • 1 container of Wilton bloody skull and bones sprinkles
  • 1 package of mini eyeball candies
  • 1 container of Wilton spooky ghosts sprinkles
